Faith in Action & Life Class Field Trip Dec. 13 PDF Print E-mail

Faith In Action (Grades 1st-4th) and The Life Class (Grades 5th-6th) parents and students we need you to start making or buying cookies! We will need you to bring 4 dozen cookies, divided into zip lock bags in groups of 6 cookies each. 

 

We will have a time of fellowship and cookie exchange then we will take half of your cookies and make a Christmas cookie tray.  Then you and your parent (s) will deliver your tray to a Golden Years family or a shut in.

 

You will get to take the half of you cookies home for your family. We look forward to your participation!

We are doing this our field trip/class early to not bother the elderly of our congregation after dark.

 

FIA Mission Reports

 

Faith in Action is in the middle of their Mission Reports.  Your children probably came home with three papers.


1. A Mission Report Form, they can go online and find out country information, PVCC web-site and PVCC directory will give additional information on the church related information.  Roger Pritchett, David Smith, Dean Wright, Ricky Bittle are some on the mission committee that can also be called for information. They will read their findings to the class on December 6. 

2.  A Letter, this letter is a letter of introduction to the missionary’s children.  They are going to be pen pals with the children (or family due to the ages of some children).  They are to complete this letter and bring it back with a SMALL item to put in a care package that we will wrap and prepare for shipment on December 6.
 
3. Their pen pal was adhered to their wrist. 

If your child was not there that night and didn’t get a pen pal, please give me a call and we will get them set up with one!!

Due to the extra work for class, we will not have daily Bible reading this week or next.
