SUMMIT is Here!
Our SUMMIT pages for elementary students were distributed for worship Sunday, January 3, 2010 and will be available for them each Sunday thereafter. We will also have special Bibles for them to use. They can pick them up at the Information Desk and return them after worship.
These are activity pages designed to help pull your child into the lesson/sermon for that Sunday. They have a reading assignment (they won’t have to do if they’ve been reading during the week) with puzzles for application of their reading. You may check out a “Day by Day” Kids Bible from the information desk if you don’t have one or forget yours. We will have pencils available there also.
Don’t forget that on the back of SUMMIT pages are activities for your family that matches the theme of our weekly Bible reading.
Remember all this information is for you and your family to choose what is best for your family. They are suggestions not requirements! Pick what fits into your schedule and do it well!
PEAK – Mountaintop Worship for Kids
We are excited to let you know about our new Children’s Worship that started January 24th. We’re calling it PEAK – Mountaintop Worship for Kids. In PEAK, our children 2 through 6 years olds will learn that worship is for them and they can be powerfully engaged in praising the Lord.
We will use children’s songs, age appropriate lessons, active scripture memorization, puppets and drama to help bring worship to life for our kids. PEAK will meet during early worship, and our lessons will follow along through the chronological Bible, just like the rest of PV.
We already have about 50 children enrolled and are thrilled to help our kids be powerfully engaged in adoration of the King!
